Kimberly Lesnick, M.S.W., L.C.S.W. offers over 15 years professional experience serving children, youth, and families. Ms. Lesnick has provided clinical services for substance abuse treatment, psychiatric facilities, and county shelters. A proficient Spanish speaker, Ms. Lesnick is committed to serving culturally diverse families. She currently works in the public education field as a Student Assistance Program counselor and in private practice. She specializes in providing interventions with the district’s at-risk students, students with special needs, and families undergoing the expulsion process.

Blaine Carman, M.A., L.M.F.T. Blaine is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been counseling individuals or consulting with organizations for more than 20 years. Blaine graduated with Honors from Saint Mary’s College with a Masters Degree in Counseling and was awarded Outstanding Masters Thesis of the Year upon graduation. He built a successful private practice in Northern California in 2000 and began working with clients in Southern California in 2008. Blaine has a passion for helping people uncover what’s blocking them in their own individual growth or in relationships, and to implement effective strategies to bring about positive change. In this process, clients find tools to help them sustain the growth which they have begun.
Blaine has training and expertise in couples therapy, love and sex addiction, anger management and men’s issues. He loves working with adults from 18 to 80 who are trying to find solutions and answers to life’s difficult questions and challenges. He is a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and is certified as a Preparetm premarital counselor. Blaine’s specialty areas include: troubled couple relationships, family conflicts, stress and anxiety management, spiritual dilemmas, post-divorce counseling, and problems resulting from major life transitions.

Haley Helton, BA, Family Life Educator. Haley Helton has been teaching Super Brain Yoga here at the Center since Jan, 2009. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2006 with her Bachelors of Arts in Child Development and Family Life Education, with an emphasis on Child Psychology. Mrs. Helton has over ten years of field training working in a variety of settings with children and teens. Her experience ranges from pre-school teacher, working with at-risk youth in an after school program, working one on one with both adults and children with ADD/ADHD and currently works as a Behavior Skills Trainer using ABA therapy with children with Autism.
For the last two years, Haley has studied and been practicing Super Brain Yoga techniques developed by Arhatic Yoga Masters. Super Brain Yoga is extremely helpful in treating a variety of conditions including: ADHD, Addictions, Autism, Memory, anxiety and mood disorders. Mrs Helton looks forward to meeting you and helping you to reach your goals whether it be for yourself, your children, or your whole family.

Patricia Bourassa, CHT has over 21 years of experience as a Certified Hypnotherapist and is a member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. While attending numerous Health and Hypnotherapy Congresses, she studied with Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Andrew Weil, Bernie S. Siegel, M.D. (Author of “Peace, Love & Healing”), Dr. Wayne Dyer, And Dr. O. Carl Simonton, Oncologist. She taught a series of classes in Self Hypnosis and Creative Visualization for many years in the Westlake School System Adult Education Program. Some areas of Hypnosis she works in are Stress Management, Weight Control, Fears/Phobias, Memory Augmentation, Sleep Deprivation, Headache/ Migraine, and Sports Enhancement. Ms. Bourassa works with children, teens, and adults.
